Wall to Wall Carpet Cleaning

Deep Cleaning with Care

Wall-to-wall carpeting should be given the same special care and attention that your area rugs receive. Hot water extraction is the most powerful and thorough method, otherwise known as steam cleaning. This deep cleaning has the ability to remove dirt and soil deep underneath the surface of the carpet. By removing all the dirt that is buried underneath, you add years to the life of your carpet. How often carpet should be cleaned, will be different from household to household, based on the amount of traffic on a regular basis. Where heavy traffic exists, cleaning should be done at least once a year, even if it is being vacuumed regularly. It is better to remove a little dirt each cleaning instead of the dirt building up over an extended period of time. Professional steam cleaning also reduces allergens and will contribute to better air quality in your home.

The Treatment

Our expert technicians will first pre-treat the carpet with a spot removal detergent. High pressured hot water is then sprayed into the carpet before being recovered by the vacuum attachment that is directly in front of the mister, taking with it soil and residue. At least 80-90% of the water discharged into the carpet will be immediately removed, permitting a shorter drying period. The carpet should be completely dry in no more than 12 hours. Steam cleaning will be more effective than using a rotary machine because there will be no soap residue left in the carpet which causes a build-up of dirt and bacteria.
